CONTRAPESTRAT POPULATION CONTROL
ContraPest is the first and only EPA
registered contraceptive bait.
Did you know that under ideal conditions, two mating rats can produce 15,000 offspring within one year? While there are many rodent control tools to bring rat populations down quickly, without fertility control, those that survive can reproduce and rebound the population back to its initial size or larger within 3 to 6 months. This makes it difficult to maintain control of rat infestations and can result in infrastructure damage, product contamination, and aesthetic concerns.
ContraPest consists of two active ingredients that target the reproductive systems of both male and female rats maximizing its effectiveness. Its liquid formula is ideal for rats which must drink at least 10% of their body weight each day. ContraPest is not a sterilant, it is a contraceptive that for long-term effectiveness must be continuously deployed. Rat’s will continue to consume ContraPest because it is highly palatable and will be their food of choice even when offered abundant alternatives.
